Pastor and Puppet at Preschool

Each month, the children have "chapel time," when they sing songs and hear a message from Pastor Dale and his puppet friends. We don't record the songs to protect their privacy, but we do record the messages so children around the world can enjoy them.

Our school colors are red, white and blue.  Our team name is the "soldiers" and our school song is "I'm in the Lord's Army".

Class Hours and Fees

Three Year Old Class

Children must be 3 by September 30th

15 children per class

One lead teacher and one aide

Meets:  Monday and Wednesday

9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. ( morning class time)

12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. (afternoon class time)

Annual tuition: $690.00 - 10 month payment  -  $69.00

Four Year Old Class

Children must be 4 by September 30th

23 children per class

One lead teacher and 2 aides

Meets:  Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (morning class)

12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. (afternoon class)

Annual tuition: $1,082.00 - 10 months payment  - $108.00

Pre-Kindergarten Class

Children must be 5 by January 30th

20 children per class

One lead teacher and one aide

Meets:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Annual tuition:  $1,360.00 - 10 month payments -  $136.00

Curriculum

Our kindergarten readiness curriculum in our preschool includes the cognitive skills of color and letter recognition, sizes, counting, shapes, comparisons and spatial relationships.  The program also includes working with rhyming words, days of the week, months of the year and learning to write his/her name in upper and lower case.   We reinforce Bible learning values and sing songs about Bible stories. Our program will help develop an interest and joy in learning, as well as a feeling of responsibility and success. 

Staff

The staff of Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran School welcomes your interest in our school and hopes to be of service to you and your child.

Our staff members meet the academic qualifications for their position, have required state training, attend conferences and workshops to help further their professional growth.
